One of my favorite vacation rental on Lake Atitlan.
Beautifully crafted house located 10 min walk from San Marcos La Laguna center. The house is 250 m2 (2,690 sqft) on the hlll overlooking the lake and its volcanos, offering spectacular views. Be aware house not suitable for people having difficulties to walk as the access is a long trail uphill with stairs. But when you get there you don't want to come down... And the care taker who lives on the property is there to help you to carry your luggage, food, water, gas tank...
On a large terrace with extensive views, a small pool to refresh and enjoy the sunsets or in the solar heated tub to soak, out door shower, you will experienced the lake like few people have done it.
The house is 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, big living room with fire place, covered terrace.
Kitchen all equiped with pots and pants, dishes for 6, hand blender, tables with 6 chairs, gas stove with 6 burners, traditional mayan wooden stove, fridge with freezer, clean drinking water from rain.
Firts Bedroom : big sunny room, with kingsized bed, shelves, drawers, bedside lamps, panoramic windows with volcanos and lake view.. Excellent spot for stargazing at night. Bathroom with solar heated shower.
Above the kitchen you have a huge round living room with spectacular ceiling made of palms, tropical hard wood floor. Again panoramic windows perfect space to do yoga, meditation or to receive massages.
Then from the main building you connect through a long pinkish tunnel with ambient light to the second bedroom. This one with rounded shape offers one double bed which can be also transformed into 2 singles beds, shelves, lamps, desk, big panoramic views. Bathroom with solar heated shower.
Laundry room with washing machine.
Out door covered terrace with table, chairs, day bed and hammock. Garden with flowers, grass, oak trees etc.
